Money matters

Refund Policy

Effective October 14, 2026. Paying for an exam tutor should hold no surprises, so here is exactly when money comes back and when it does not.

The rule in brief. What you pay Aspirants.ai is not handed back, apart from three specific cases explained in section 2. Before spending anything you can answer real practice questions in the demo on our home page, and you can stop renewals on your own at any time.

1. A plan is a study period, not a bundle of questions

You subscribe monthly or yearly and get the AI tutor for your exam, within the limits listed on the pricing page, for that length of time. The price is not split per mock test, generated question or explanation. The full period opens on its first day, and it costs the same whether you revise nightly or leave the tutor untouched until exam week.

You see the tutor in action and read every plan before checkout, so nothing in a subscription should come as a surprise. When you no longer need it, cancel and no further payment is taken.

Subscribing is your instruction for us to start at once. Any withdrawal or cooling-off right that the law would otherwise give you therefore ends once the service begins, and you accept that when you pay.

2. When a charge does come back

  • Billed twice. Our billing collected one period from you more than once.
  • Card misuse you can show. The payment was made without your consent, you report it to us within 14 days, and both the transaction data and your account history back you up. We decide on evidence rather than on the claim itself, and we may ask whether your card issuer has been told about the misuse as well.
  • The tutor completely unavailable. A fault we confirm on our side made Aspirants.ai impossible to use for an unbroken stretch, you reported it during that time, and we could not repair it. A slow answer, one feature acting up, or problems with your own device, browser or internet connection are not included.

Each case has to be supported by the records described in section 5. The amount returned is limited to what you paid for the period in question, goes back to the card your plan was billed to, and closes the matter for good. Getting a refund one month says nothing about the next.

3. When it does not

  • The exam was rescheduled, you sat it early, you switched to a different exam, or you just changed your mind.
  • You hardly studied, or did not log in, during a period you paid for.
  • Your score. No study tool can guarantee a pass, a grade or a rank, as section 3 of our Terms of Service makes clear.
  • You disliked how an AI explanation was phrased, how hard a generated question was, or how an answer of yours was marked.
  • A renewal payment was collected, including after one or more failed attempts.
  • You took the plan for a one-time purchase. Automatic renewal is stated on the pricing page, on the payment screen, in the confirmation email and in your tutor panel.
  • You cancelled after the renewal date rather than before it.
  • You selected a plan or billing length that did not fit your study schedule.
  • A feature you hoped for is not described on the pricing page, or one that is described works differently from your expectation.
  • Days left over in a period after you cancel. They run out normally and are never pro-rated.
  • Someone else studied on your account, such as a classmate you gave your password to.

4. Cancelling and what happens at renewal

Go to Payments and invoices in your tutor panel and cancel; there is nobody you need to contact. Renewals stop immediately, and the tutor stays open until the paid period ends. Cancelling does not count as asking for a refund.

Until you cancel, the plan renews itself. On the first day of each new period its payment is due and access for the whole period is in place. A declined card is a decision of your card issuer, and the same invoice is tried again over the next few days; those attempts are one bill, not several. If you cancel while the retries are running, future periods are stopped, but the current amount is still owed and is not returned once collected. Cancel before the renewal date in your panel if you do not want the next period.

5. Agreement and evidence

Your Aspirants.ai account comes with acceptance of two documents: the Terms of Service, into which this page is folded, and the Privacy Policy. The payment screen states the plan, price, billing period and automatic renewal before you confirm, and the receipt email and your panel show them again.

Per subscription we retain the purchase time, the plan and price on the payment screen, the record that you accepted the terms, the emails and renewal reminders we sent, and the account activity history: sign-ins, questions asked, mock tests sat and answers marked, each with its technical details. Separately, the payment operator stores every transaction with the country that issued the card, where the payment originated and the outcome of the bank's 3D Secure step.

A disputed charge is checked against this material, and if a chargeback is filed it is passed on to your bank or card issuer.

6. Write to us, not straight to your bank

Send your request to support@aspirants.ai from the email on your account, at the latest 14 days after the charge. Mention the date, the amount and the case from section 2 that you are relying on. We do not review requests that come later or through some other route. They are handled in the order received, without a promised reply time, and a refusal is final.

Going to your bank with a chargeback without writing to us first breaches our Terms of Service, and the account is then closed permanently.

7. Plans bought earlier

A subscription bought before October 14, 2026 stays under the terms of its purchase day until its next renewal, and this policy governs it from that renewal on.
