UWorld CPA Review price: what Roger CPA and UWorld Accounting cost in 2026, and a $9 a month alternative

Start with what is verifiable. On September 8, 2026 the UWorld CPA course page carried a sale banner reading "SAVE $1,600, CPA Elite-Unlimited Course, Now $2,299, $3,899". That is the middle of three packages and the only one with a number attached. Underneath each of the three packages UWorld prints an Affirm financing minimum, and those render reliably: $97 a month for Premier, $112 for Elite-Unlimited, $141 for Elite-Unlimited+. On a separate page UWorld describes its own range as "about $1,999 to $2,899 after discounts". Buying the question bank on its own is straightforward and clearly priced at $299 per exam section for six months of access, and the printed book sets are listed at $250 and $300 with optional six-month eBook access for another $50.

Because UWorld does not publish it in a way a page can read. We checked twice on September 8, 2026: once by requesting the raw server HTML for the course page, and once by rendering the same page in a headless browser and photographing the pricing table. In both cases the three package prices came back as a bare dollar sign with nothing after it. The feature matrix underneath renders perfectly, all nineteen rows of it. The numbers are injected later, at checkout. The result is that every roundup you read is quoting a price someone saw during one particular promotion, which is why the figures on those pages differ by hundreds of dollars and never carry a date.

UWorld runs a page called "Compare CPA Review Course Discounts and Costs". On it, Becker appears with four packages and full figures: Concierge $6,349 marked to $4,999, Pro+ $4,044 to $2,698, Pro $3,845 to $2,499, and Advantage at $2,499. Gleim appears with three: Premium Pro $3,499 to $2,274, Premium $2,999 to $2,099, Traditional $2,499 to $1,249. In the UWorld column of that same table, all three package prices are blank. We independently checked Becker on becker.com the same day and every one of those figures matched, so the competitor data is accurate. It is just one sided. When you are about to spend somewhere between two and three thousand dollars, knowing that the seller has structured the comparison so you can price everyone except the seller is worth ten minutes of your time.

UWorld acquired Roger CPA Review, and the course page still advertises itself as "best of Roger + Wiley", so the lecture style people bought Roger for is still there. What changed is the question bank underneath it, which is now UWorld house material: 9,000 or more multiple choice questions and over 500 task-based simulations across all six sections, with the same rationale style UWorld uses on its medical products. The feature matrix has nineteen rows and seventeen of them are identical across all three packages. The QBank, the video lectures, the UAsk AI assistant, SmartPath, the study planner, the mobile app, the flashcards, the TBS mastery videos and the cram course are in every package including the cheapest. The rows that actually differ are these. Premier gives you eighteen months of access and four eBooks; Elite-Unlimited gives you unlimited access until you pass, four printed books, full-length mock exams and live boot camps; Elite-Unlimited+ adds all six sections rather than four, six printed books, a one-year Surgent CPE subscription, and the pass guarantee. So the real question is whether eighteen months is enough for you. If you are sitting four sections around a busy season, it usually is not, and the upgrade is cheaper than re-buying.

UWorld offers a money-back pass guarantee on the Elite-Unlimited+ package only. It returns $250 per section you fail, capped at $1,000 total, and you have to meet study requirements to qualify. Becker structures its guarantee the same way with the same $1,000 figure, and reserves a full 100 percent money-back guarantee for its $6,349 Concierge package. Surgent puts a money-back pass guarantee on every tier including the $799 one. None of these refund the exam fee itself, which is the expensive part when you fail: candidates pay per section to the state board every time they re-sit. Treat the guarantee as a discount on your second purchase, not as insurance.

The four brands are not priced within reach of each other. Surgent sells all six sections with unlimited access until you pass for $799 at its cheapest tier. UWorld Elite-Unlimited was $2,299 on the day we checked. Becker Advantage is $2,499 and does not discount, while its Pro package lists at $3,845 and was on promotion at $2,499 until 11:59 PM Central on September 8, 2026. Becker Concierge lists at $6,349. That is an eight to one spread for products all mapped to the same AICPA blueprints. Recognition explains part of it: Becker is the course large firms reimburse and, if your employer is paying, the price comparison is not really your problem. If you are paying yourself, it is the whole problem.
