DAT Bootcamp price and DAT Bootcamp cost for Pro and Plus, the coupon, and DAT Bootcamp vs Booster

DAT Bootcamp is the default DAT course for most pre-dental students, so the real question is rarely whether to buy it. It is which plan, how many days, and whether to pay the full price at all. The pages that rank for this question quote anything from $494 to $1,250 for the same two plans. We read the numbers from Bootcamp's own checkout instead, along with the guarantee fine print and the refund terms, so you can decide before the card comes out.

The short answer

DAT Bootcamp costs $599 for Bootcamp Pro (90 days of access) and $999 for Bootcamp Plus (180 days plus five extra full-length tests and five extra tests in each section), read from bootcamp.com on October 5, 2026. Those are sale prices against list prices of $699 and $1,299, and Klarna splits them into four payments of $149.75 or $249.75. Fees are non-refundable, and the Higher Score Guarantee only extends your membership, and only if you already have an official DAT score to beat.

Bar chart of DAT Bootcamp prices read October 5, 2026: Pro $599 for 90 days against a $699 list price, Plus $999 for 180 days against $1,299, DAT Booster Premium $549 for 90 days and Premium Max $899 for 180 days, Kaplan DAT On Demand $699 for 3 months, the $580 ADA DAT fee, the ADA DAT fee and Aspirants.ai at $288 a year

What DAT Bootcamp costs today

Bootcamp sells two DAT plans. Bootcamp Pro is $599 for 90 days of access, shown against a $699 list price with "Save $100 Instantly". Bootcamp Plus is $999 for 180 days, shown against $1,299 with "Save $300 Instantly". Both are one-time purchases for a fixed window, and both can be split into four interest-free payments with Klarna or Afterpay: $149.75 for Pro and $249.75 for Plus. Pro includes 11,000+ DAT questions, 3,550+ videos, the study schedule creator, score predictions, Dr. Mike's chemistry videos and the mobile app.

  • Bootcamp Pro: $599 (list $699), 90 days
  • Bootcamp Plus: $999 (list $1,299), 180 days
  • 4 payments: $149.75 or $249.75

Pro or Plus, which one to buy

Plus costs $400 more than Pro and buys two things: 90 more days and 35 more tests (five extra full-length exams plus five extra tests in each of Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Reading, Math and Perceptual Ability). Per day of access Plus is actually cheaper, about $5.55 a day against $6.66 for Pro. The question is whether you will use the time. If your test date is already booked within three months, Pro is the right buy. If you are studying alongside a full course load, or you think a retake is likely, Plus covers the ADA's 60-day wait between attempts without paying for a second membership.

  • Plus costs $400 more than Pro
  • 90 extra days and 35 extra tests
  • Pro about $6.66 a day, Plus about $5.55
  • Plus covers a retake inside one membership

The DAT Bootcamp coupon question

The sale price is already applied at checkout, so a code that promises another 10% often stacks with nothing. The discounts Bootcamp itself describes are narrower: a group coupon set up on request for a pre-dental club or school, and financial help for students who hold an ADA DAT fee waiver and send the verification. Bootcamp also offers a free account with sample material, including Biology Test 1, so you can judge the interface before paying. Institutional access for schools is sold separately through its sales team.

  • Sale price already applied at checkout
  • Group coupon for pre-dental clubs, on request
  • Financial help for ADA fee waiver holders
  • Free account and Biology Test 1 before you buy

What the Higher Score Guarantee really covers

The guarantee promises a higher Academic Average than your previous official DAT attempt. If your AA does not improve, Bootcamp extends your membership for free until your next retake, up to 180 days. It is not a refund. To qualify you need an official score report from an earlier attempt, at least 8 practice tests completed in each subject, at least 80% of the videos marked complete and at least 80% of the questions answered, and you must register for a new test date. A first-time test taker has no baseline score, so the guarantee does not apply to them at all.

  • An extension of up to 180 days, not a refund
  • Needs a previous official DAT score
  • 8 practice tests per subject, 80% of videos and questions
  • First-time test takers cannot claim it

Refunds, extensions and pausing

Read the terms before paying, because there is no return window. Bootcamp's terms of service say fees are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law, with refunds only at its discretion in extraordinary circumstances. Extensions are bought from the memberships tab of your account, but only while an upgraded membership is still active, so extend before it expires. The extension price is not shown on the public pricing page. One useful exception to the clock: you can buy now and ask support to pause the account until you are ready to start studying.

  • Fees are non-refundable
  • Extend only while your membership is active
  • Extension price not published publicly
  • Buy now, ask support to start the clock later

DAT Bootcamp vs DAT Booster

DAT Booster, now sold at boosterprep.com, is the closest rival and is cheaper at both lengths. Premium is $549 for 90 days (list $649) and Premium Max is $899 for 180 days (list $1,249), so Booster costs $50 less than Bootcamp Pro and $100 less than Plus, with 11,200+ questions, 60+ practice tests and PATBooster included. Booster's guarantee is also stronger: a repeat taker who does not improve can choose a full refund instead of an extension. Bootcamp wins on Klarna and Afterpay installments, which Booster does not show, and on how closely its tests match the real interface by most students' accounts.

  • Booster Premium $549, Premium Max $899
  • Booster is $50 to $100 cheaper per plan
  • Booster guarantee: refund or extension
  • Booster refunds only within 24 hours, minus 7%

What the DAT itself costs

Budget the exam next to the course. The ADA charges $580 per DAT attempt, including score reports to the schools you pick when you apply, and the fee is non-refundable. Rescheduling costs $50 with 30 or more business days of notice, $70 with 5 to 29 and $150 with 1 to 4. A retake needs a 60-day wait, you can sit at most four times in 12 months, and from the third attempt you need ADA permission. The official practice test is $100. A Bootcamp or Booster plan plus one attempt therefore lands between $1,129 and $1,579.

  • ADA exam fee: $580 per attempt
  • 60-day wait between attempts, 4 per 12 months
  • Official full practice test: $100
  • Course plus one attempt: $1,129 to $1,579

Where Aspirants.ai fits next to DAT Bootcamp

A fixed bank runs out. By the last few weeks most students are retaking Bootcamp tests they remember, and the score stops telling them anything new. Aspirants.ai writes fresh DAT-style questions on the section and topic where you are weakest, explains every answer choice, and answers follow-up questions at any hour. Starter is $24 a month billed yearly ($288 a year) or $49 month to month, with 450 practice questions a month on your exam. It is cheaper than a second Bootcamp membership and works best next to Bootcamp, not instead of it.
