The short answer

A Simple Nursing subscription costs $20 a month for the Nursing School plan and $60 a month for NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN prep, read from the US pricing page on October 8, 2026. Longer plans cut the rate: $105 per semester or $180 a year for nursing school, $139 for a 90-day NCLEX pass, $189 for the NCLEX-RN Pass Guarantee and $312 for the Full Journey Pass, which runs 24 months and extends until you pass. Monthly plans are never refunded, and one-time passes can only be refunded within 48 hours, minus a fee of $10 to $25. Prices of $134 to $299 on older review sites belong to plans Simple Nursing has retired.

What a Simple Nursing subscription costs today

Simple Nursing sells three tracks. The Nursing School Pass is $20 a month, $105 every six months ($17.50 a month) or $180 for a year ($15 a month). NCLEX-RN Prep and NCLEX-PN Prep are priced the same: $60 a month, or $139 for a one-time 90-Day Pass ($46 a month). The NCLEX-RN Pass Guarantee is $189 once for 90 days, extended free until you pass. The Full Journey Pass bundles nursing school and NCLEX-RN for $312 once, with 24 months of access that also extends until you pass. The monthly and semester plans renew until you cancel. The annual plan, the 90-day passes, the guarantee and Full Journey are billed once and do not renew.

  • Nursing School: $20 a month, $105 a semester, $180 a year
  • NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN: $60 a month or $139 for 90 days
  • NCLEX-RN Pass Guarantee: $189 once
  • Full Journey Pass: $312 once, 24 months

Why other sites quote different prices

There are two reasons. First, Simple Nursing changed its plans. The pricing page still carries a table of its previous memberships: Nursing School Essentials at $134 a year (once $199), Premium at $143 (once $249), Unlimited at $218 (once $449) and NCLEX-RN Elite at $209 (once $299). None of those is sold in the current US grid, yet review pages keep quoting them, along with ranges like $39 to $129 a month. Second, Simple Nursing runs a separate Canadian store priced in Canadian dollars, where the NCLEX-RN 90-Day Pass is $194 and Full Journey is $435. If a page shows those numbers, it is quoting CAD, not the US price.

  • Retired plans: $134, $143, $218 and $209
  • Canadian store: $194 and $435 in CAD
  • Current US plans: $20 to $312

Monthly or the 90-day NCLEX pass

Most new graduates study for the NCLEX for six to twelve weeks. At $60 a month, three months of NCLEX-RN Prep costs $180, while the 90-Day Pass costs $139, so the pass saves $41 if you need more than two months. If you are testing within four or five weeks, one or two months at $60 is the cheaper route. Watch the renewal date on the monthly plan. Simple Nursing says a cancellation on the renewal day or later is not refunded, and monthly subscriptions are never refunded at all. The 90-Day Pass simply ends, which is the safer choice if you tend to forget subscriptions.

  • 2 months monthly: $120
  • 3 months monthly: $180
  • 90-Day Pass: $139, no renewal
  • Cancel before the renewal date

Is the $189 Pass Guarantee worth $50 more?

The guarantee plan is the 90-day NCLEX-RN pass plus three things: access that is extended free until you pass, an adaptive study plan built around your test date, and priority support. It also includes a year of the Nursing Career Passport, an Elite Learning membership Simple Nursing values at $99, with a new grad course worth 6 CE hours and CE tracking. The extension is the part that matters. NCSBN makes you wait 45 days after a failed attempt, so a candidate who fails around day 60 would retest well after a 90-day pass had expired and would have to buy prep again. For $50, the guarantee removes that second purchase. It is sold for NCLEX-RN only, not PN.

  • $50 over the 90-Day Pass
  • Access extended until you pass
  • Adds a study plan and priority support
  • RN only, no PN version

The Full Journey Pass and the annual school plan

Full Journey is $312 once for 24 months, which Simple Nursing frames as $13 a month. It is the only school plan that adds the NCLEX tools that matter late in prep: adaptive CAT practice tests, six readiness assessments with a pass prediction and the 26-hour NCLEX review lecture series, plus the guarantee extension. The comparison table shows something many buyers miss. The $180 annual Nursing School plan already includes the 4,500+ question NCLEX-RN bank and the 1,400+ NGN questions, just without the CAT tests and readiness assessments. A student a year from graduation can start on the annual plan and add a 90-day NCLEX pass later for $319 in total, close to the $312 bundle.

  • Full Journey: $312 for 24 months
  • Annual school plan: includes the NCLEX-RN question bank
  • Missing on school plans: CAT tests and readiness assessments
  • Annual plus a 90-day pass: $319

NCLEX-PN prep is priced like RN but gets less

PN candidates pay the same $60 a month or $139 for 90 days, but the plan is smaller. The PN bank has 3,800+ questions and 975+ NGN questions against 4,500+ and 1,400+ for RN. In the comparison table the adaptive CAT practice tests are marked as not included for PN, while the six readiness assessments and the Nurse Mike review lectures are included. There is also no PN Pass Guarantee or PN Full Journey. For a practical nursing graduate that means paying RN prices for roughly 85% of the RN question volume, and no protection if the first attempt goes wrong.

  • PN: 3,800+ questions, 975+ NGN
  • RN: 4,500+ questions, 1,400+ NGN
  • No CAT practice tests on the PN plan
  • No PN guarantee or bundle

The free trial, refunds and account rules

People search for a Simple Nursing free trial, and what exists is a five-day limited access pass. Read the refund policy before you pay for anything longer. One-time memberships can be refunded only within 48 hours of purchase, and a 10% processing fee is taken, at least $10 and at most $25. After 48 hours they are non-refundable and cannot be converted to another plan. Monthly subscriptions cannot be refunded. An account can be used on up to four devices, and Simple Nursing terminates shared accounts without a refund. Shop Pay installments are offered on non-monthly plans over $100.

  • Free trial: five days, limited access
  • Refunds: 48 hours, minus $10 to $25
  • Monthly plans: no refunds
  • Up to 4 devices, no sharing

Simple Nursing vs UWorld and Archer on price

For NCLEX-RN prep alone Simple Nursing is the cheapest of the three big names at 90 days. Its 90-Day Pass is $139, against $229 for UWorld NCLEX-RN at 90 days and $129 for the Archer Q-Bank at three months (UWorld and Archer read from their own sites in September 2026). Archer is cheaper still per question, with 3,100+ questions and CAT readiness tests. UWorld is the most expensive and is known for the depth of its rationales and illustrations. Simple Nursing is the only one of the three built around videos and study guides as much as questions, which is why it suits students who need content review, not just a question bank. Its 99% pass figure comes from students who answer its own surveys, so treat it as marketing, as you would the rates the others publish.

  • Simple Nursing 90 days: $139
  • Archer Q-Bank 3 months: $129
  • UWorld NCLEX-RN 90 days: $229
  • Pass rates are self-reported by all three

Where Aspirants.ai fits next to Simple Nursing

Simple Nursing is strong on teaching the content through video. The gap shows when you have worked through a fixed question bank and start recognizing items you have already seen. Aspirants.ai writes new NCLEX-style questions on the client need categories you keep missing, explains why each wrong option is wrong, and answers follow-up questions at any hour, including the one-in-the-morning pharmacology question. It does not replace a video course. Starter is $24 a month billed yearly ($288 a year) or $49 month to month, and you can cancel any time. Remember the exam itself: the NCLEX registration fee is $200 today and rises to $350 on February 1, 2027.

Honest answers

Simple Nursing subscription price for nursing school and NCLEX, the Pass Guarantee, refunds and Simple Nursing vs UWorld and Archer, answered straight.

A Simple Nursing subscription costs $20 a month for nursing school and $60 a month for NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN prep, read from the US pricing page on October 8, 2026. Cheaper per month are the $180 annual school plan, the $139 NCLEX 90-Day Pass, the $189 Pass Guarantee and the $312 Full Journey Pass.

The monthly plans are $20 for nursing school and $60 for NCLEX prep. On longer plans the monthly equivalent falls to $17.50 (semester), $15 (annual), $46 (NCLEX 90-Day Pass) and about $13 for the 24-month Full Journey Pass, which is billed once at $312.

Simple Nursing offers a five-day limited access pass rather than full access. It is enough to try the videos and the question format. After that you choose a paid plan, and because one-time plans are only refundable within 48 hours, it is worth using the five days before you buy a 90-day pass.

Only on one-time plans and only within 48 hours of purchase, with a 10% processing fee of at least $10 and at most $25. After 48 hours a membership cannot be refunded or converted to another plan. Monthly subscriptions are not refundable, and cancelling on the renewal day is too late for that month.

For most first-time NCLEX-RN candidates with a booked test date, yes. It costs $50 more than the $139 90-Day Pass and extends your access free until you pass. Since NCSBN requires 45 days between attempts, a failed first try would otherwise mean buying prep again.

Yes for NCLEX-RN. Simple Nursing charges $139 for 90 days against $229 for UWorld NCLEX-RN at 90 days, from each vendor's own site. UWorld is known for deeper rationales, and Simple Nursing adds video lessons and study guides. Archer is the cheapest of the three at $129 for three months.

The pricing page does not list a coupon code. The real discounts are structural: the annual school plan saves 25% against monthly, the semester plan 17%, and the NCLEX 90-Day Pass about 24% against three monthly payments. Coupon sites often quote codes for plans that are no longer sold.

It is good value if you need content review as well as questions, because video lessons and study guides come with every NCLEX plan. If you only want a large question bank with CAT readiness tests, Archer gives more questions for less. PN candidates get fewer questions and no CAT tests for the same price.

Yes. Simple Nursing lets you upgrade an active Nursing School membership to the Full Journey Pass from the Upgrade tab, or cancel the school subscription and buy an NCLEX plan separately. Note that the annual school plan already includes the NCLEX-RN question bank, just not the CAT tests or readiness assessments.

It does not, quite. The Canadian store prices in Canadian dollars, so the NCLEX-RN 90-Day Pass shows as $194 and Full Journey as $435 in CAD. US buyers pay $139 and $312. If a review quotes the higher figures, it is reading the Canadian page.
